We bought a house - that was yet to be built - in 'Saendelft' in October 2000. Saendelft is a new residential area in Assendelft, which is a village in Zaanstad, a municipality approximately 20 km. North of Amsterdam. Between 1997 and 2005 about 5000 houses are being built in phases. The delivery of our house took place June 27, 2002. We finally moved on Friday, August 2nd, 2002.
